There’s no high gloss here, no attempt to turn wood into something it isn’t. The surface feels alive under the hand,  smooth, yes, but never slick or plastic.

The integrated drawer is compact but purposeful, opened by a subtle hand-carved grip rather than hardware. Below, an open shelf provides space for books or personal objects, reinforcing the idea that this piece is meant to be lived with, not just looked at.
