Plant Propagation Stations for the Modern Home

Our handcrafted propagation stations are more than just a way to root cuttings. They bring warmth, intention, and timeless design to your plant care ritual. Whether you’re a dedicated plant parent or just starting your indoor jungle, these stations make rooting feel like part of your home’s story.

Each piece begins with a salvaged or sustainably sourced block of hardwood, remnants from custom furniture projects, or rescued offcuts others might toss. Asha gives them new life. She designs and builds each propagation station by hand, milling and coring the block to cradle a simple glass vial. From shaping to sanding to finish, it’s her hands that bring the form to life.

It all started with a salvaged spice tube, a stunning piece of olive wood, and Peter, Paul & Mary playing in the shop. Lemon Tree was born, and Asha’s passion for propagation vases took root. Today, she ships them to plant lovers across the country, each one crafted with intention, beauty, and a hint of music in the grain.

Propagation Station FAQs

What plants can I propagate with these stations?

Common choices include pothos, philodendron, monstera, tradescantia, herbs, and even succulents like jade. Anything that roots in water works well.

How do I use a propagation station?

Snip a healthy stem just below a node, remove the lower leaves, place the stem in a vial of clean water, and set it in bright, indirect light.

How often should I change the water?

Every few days is best to prevent bacteria. Rinse the vial with warm water and refill.

Do you offer wall-mounted options?

Yes! Our wall propagation holders are perfect for small spaces or statement displays.

Can I choose the wood?

Most designs come in a few optionsβ€”walnut, cherry, and maple are common. Check the product details for availability.

Do they come with vials?

Yes, every station includes glass tubes sized to fit the holder perfectly.

Where are they made?

Every piece is made by hand in our small family workshop. We use traditional tools, minimal waste processes, and a lot of love.

Plant Propagation Stations

Each plant propagation station in our collection is crafted with a modern sensibility and a mid-century soul. Clean lines, natural materials, and quiet function come together to support your plant propagation journey with ease and beauty. Whether you're looking for a single tube holder or a multi-vial propagation stand, our collection is designed to fit your space and your aesthetic.

We offer propagation stands in various styles, from minimalist blocks to sculptural wall propagation holders. They’re not only functional but also bring intention and personality to your windowsill, shelf, or plant nook.

Propagation Vials, Tubes, and Glass Holders

Every station includes high-quality removable propagation vials made of clear borosilicate-style glass, durable and transparent. This clarity allows you to observe every stage of root growth, while removable tubes make water changes quick and easy.

Some of our designs feature multiple glass vials, perfect for experimenting with different plants or starting a full propagation setup. Our wall propagation holders even bring this ritual to vertical spaces ideal for smaller homes, kitchens, or studios where every inch counts.

Plants & Propagation

From monstera and philodendron to fresh herbs and spider plants, propagation is a beautiful way to multiply the plants you love. Whether you're snipping stems to share or expanding your own greenery, our propagation stations support strong, healthy growth. The clear glass lets you monitor root development, while the handmade wood base ensures your cuttings are secure and stylishly displayed.

Propagation is also an easy entry point for new plant parents. With no soil needed, just a clean cut and some sunlight, your plants begin a new chapter in plain sight.

Why Choose a Dedicated Propagation Station?

Let’s be honest: a mason jar on the windowsill works, but it doesn’t inspire. A proper propagation stand transforms a practical task into a design element. It keeps things tidy, organized, and beautiful. Whether you’re a casual collector or a full-blown plant stylist, our stations make the process more joyful.

And because we use wood with character: walnut, cherry, maple, and more each one carries a story. Some are even finished with natural oils to let the grain shine and develop a patina over time.

For the Home

Our propagation stations aren’t just plant tools, they’re part of your decor. Designed to complement modern, minimal, and mid-century interiors, they elevate the little corners of your home with warmth and intention.

We believe even the smallest objects should bring beauty to your daily life. That’s why each piece is made slowly, with care, right here in our workshop. Whether on a sunlit windowsill or nestled among books and ceramics, these small stands invite life into your space.
