Like all woodshops, we have hardwood offcuts. Unlike most, we don’t toss them. Richard squares each rescued block, then Asha takes over — coring that perfect round window, refining the profile, fitting the glass tube, and hand-finishing until the grain glows.

This square-shaped beauty stands approximately 8″ tall by 8″ wide, with rounded corners and a subtle curve that softens the edges. The playful tension of a circular opening set within a square form creates a visually striking design, a balance of shape and negative space that feels sculptural yet harmonious. It’s handcrafted to cradle and elevate your botanical cuttings, making every display a mini gallery.

Each vase is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and fitted with a clear glass tube to cradle your plant cuttings as they root and grow. Asha coaxes its new form: coring the round window, shaping the profile, fitting the glass, and hand-finishing until the grain tells its story. The result? A propagation station that’s minimal, clever, and unmistakably one-of-a-kind.

Pick your size

Regular – great for counter or shelf styling; pairs well with longer stems.

How to use

Snip a healthy stem and remove lower leaves.
Fill the tube with water and drop the cutting in.
Refresh water weekly; enjoy the roots show.

Care of your square propagation vase

Rinse the tube as needed; a tiny bottle brush helps. Wipe the wood with a dry or slightly damp cloth, don’t soak. If it ever looks thirsty, a touch of mineral oil or board wax perks it right up.
