Each menorah is shaped by hand from off-cuts left over from a custom farmhouse kitchen island project. The wood carries visible marks of its former life: old nail holes, subtle worm tracks, and time-worn grain, preserved as part of the design rather than hidden. These details are not flaws; they are history.

This farmhouse menorah is designed for standard Hanukkah candles. Each holder includes a brass candle cup to keep the candles secure and stable.

 

How is the reclaimed heart pine finished?

We finish each menorah by hand with a hardwax oil that protects the wood and brings out its natural warmth. The nail holes, worm holes, and knots are left open for authenticity, but every menorah is hand sanded until it’s smooth, never splintery.
