Roundabout Knife Block
Solid Walnut · Mid-Century Modern Form
Roundabout is a sculptural knife block, handcrafted one at a time from solid American black walnut. Its gently arced silhouette nods to mid-century modern design, while the construction and finish place it firmly in the world of fine furniture.
The curved “bridge” form is coopered, carefully faired, and hand-finished to a soft satin sheen, revealing the deep chatoyance walnut is known for. From every angle, it reads as intentional, balanced, and quietly confident.
This is not a countertop accessory designed to disappear. It’s meant to sit with presence.

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking or standing water. Refresh occasionally with a light coat of cutting board oil or wax as needed. Learn more about how we design and build our knife blocks here on our blog.
Roundabout is built slowly, with attention paid to line, proportion, and feel, because the objects you reach for every day should be as considered as the knives they hold.
