Wooden Pillar Candle Holders, Set of 3 – Fire & Rain (White Oak)

This set of wooden pillar candle holders began as an idea during the making of our Fire & Rain custom mantel for a home in Washington State. One afternoon in the shop, with James Taylor’s “Fire and Rain” playing in the background, a few offcuts of white oak caught our eye. Richard was at the lathe shaping mantel details, and I asked him to turn a few pieces into candle holders, something simple, but with the same sense of balance and quiet presence as the mantel itself.

Each candle holder in this trio is unique: 4", 5", and 8" tall, echoing the graceful lines and natural grain of the original project. Their solid white oak construction and subtle curves bring a sense of calm and warmth to any room, whether clustered together or spread across a table or mantel.

These wooden pillar candle holders are a small-batch celebration of using what you have, letting the music and mood in the studio guide the design. Each set carries forward the spirit of the larger work they were inspired by—a little light, a little story, and the comfort of something made with care.

Fits standard pillar candles. Never leave burning candles unattended; wood is not fire-resistant.
